FAQ

  • This is a wonderful and oh-so-important question. I love working with many different small business owners and my process is adaptable to various industries. I also understand that my bold, clean aesthetic isn’t a perfect fit with everyone. That’s why I ask anyone who’s interested in working with me to browse through my portfolio (online)

to ensure your vision and my style are the right match.

  • For most design services, I require a 50% non-refundable downpayment up front upon beginning the project. This secures your project in my schedule. The remaining 50% will be due upon the completion date set at the start of the project.

  • I usually book about four-six weeks in advance, so I would recommend getting in touch with me as soon as you start thinking you need a designer and well before your deadline.

  • Yes! I’m happy to help with the printing process to help ensure the final product is exactly how we imagined it. I have a handful of fantastic printers I can recommend to you, ranging in price and services. If you have a go-to printer you’d like to use for your project, I’d love to work with them as well.

  • Branding Packages have set revisions included. For individual print pieces, we’ll agree upon a number of revisions for your project and I’ll incorporate that into your design cost estimate. To help us keep focus and be efficient, I generally suggest 2-3 revisions total. Additional revisions beyond what is agreed upon will be billed at my hourly rate.

  • After discussing your needs, wants and ideas, I’ll have a better understanding of the scope of your project and the time involved. From there, we’ll put together a reasonable timeline that works well for both of us and aligns to your deadlines as best as possible.

View my Packages + Pricing handbook to see estimated timelines for branding projects, starting from our Project Kick-off Date (not the date you book).

  • Short answer: 100%, yes! Using professional photography can make a huge difference in your marketing and help bring you to the next level. I’d love to put you in touch with a few wonderful local photographers (if you’re in the Melbourne area) if you’d like to have your own photos taken, or I can share some great stock imagery resources if you’d like to purchase images for your marketing use. Hint: Always look at a photographer’s portfolio before hiring them, to be sure their style will jive with yours!

  • Contact me to find out! I’ll always try to help you meet your personal and/or marketing deadlines. However, when we can start the design process all depends on the nature of your project and how far out my project schedule is currently booked. The sooner you can get in touch, the better!

  • No, not the actual ‘working’ artwork files unless agreed upon in the proposal. However, all approved images, graphics, etc designed are 100% yours once the project is fully complete and paid fo

  • Generally, I can usually accommodate rush jobs depending on how full my production schedule is. However, a rush fee may be added – shoot me an email to find out.

  • Payments are broken into two parts. There is a 50% non-refundable deopsit that needs to be paid up front in order to secure your booking, and the 50% remainder that can be paid on the end date OR when the project is complete (whichever comes first).

  • If for some reason you are still not happy after two rounds of refinement, we will continue the refinement process at my current hourly rate.

We go through an in-depth questionnaire and briefing process in the beginning to make sure we are on the same page, so 99% of the time 2 refinement rounds are plenty!

  • No. Little Sister Studio does not provide a printing service at this time. I can however work with you and recommend print companies that I have worked with before, depending on your card needs.

  • You must have all website content (imagery and text) ready to go by our agreed upon start date. Failure to do so could result in rescheduling the project to a later date and/or a restart fee.

The best projects are well thought out and prepared before any designs are conceptualized. When the project goals are finalised before the project, you and I are working with a clear direction, purpose, and mission.
